Generally the market built in Agra Fort is called Meena Bazar. This was not an ordinary market. Women of royal families, queens of Rajputs used to come here and set up shops. Even better thing is that only women could come here for shopping. But it is said that the real Meena Bazar is not in Agra but inside the Red Fort of Delhi.

To reach Meena Bazaar, you have to get down at Red Fort Metro Station from Violet Line Metro. As soon as you come out of Gate No. 1, you will see Meena Bazaar or Chatta Bazaar inside the Red Fort at a distance of a few steps. This market is open from 9 am to 7 pm.
