ED has informed the Bombay High Court that it will not enforce the eviction notices to actresses Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra from their Mumbai house and Pune farm house until the Appellate Tribunal completes the hearing on Kundra’s application. Will do it. On September 27, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had issued a notice to Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty to vacate the house and farm house located in Juhu area of ​​Mumbai within 10 days. This notice was issued in the alleged money laundering case related to Bitcoin fraud. Had gone. So that the property can be confiscated. Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty had filed a petition in the High Court against the notice. In the petition, the notice was described as illegal and arbitrary, and it was also demanded to be cancelled.

‘Kundra-Shetty will apply to the Appellate Authority’

On Thursday, a bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dhare and PK Chavan asked the ED as to what was the need to issue an immediate eviction notice. Especially when the petitioners had the option to appeal to the authority. On this, the ED lawyer said that until the Appellate Authority does not give its decision on the application of Kundra and Shetty. Till then the ED notice will remain on hold. On this, the bench said that if the authority gives a verdict against the petitioners, then it should not be implemented for two weeks. In this way, after hearing all the parties, the bench closed the petition.

On Wednesday, the court had issued a notice to ED regarding this matter. This notice was issued after hearing Kundra’s petition. In the petition, the ED notice was said to be against the rules and a demand was made to cancel it. According to the petition, the petitioner has been living with his/her entire family in a house located in Juhu area of ​​Mumbai for two decades, in such a situation, on the grounds of humanity, he/she should be given interim relief and the implementation of the notice issued on September 27 should be stayed. It was said in the petition that there was no need to issue such a notice.

Raj Kundra-Shilpa Shetty not proved accused

According to the petition, ED had registered a case in 2018 regarding the alleged Bitcoin scam but Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty are not named as accused in the case. Earlier, Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty have fully cooperated with the ED in the case. he/she has no connection with the criminal proceeds related to this case.
