The ICC has appointed 3 other player brand ambassadors including Shikhar Dhawan for the Champions Trophy 2025. The other 3 includes Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shane Watson Tim Southee.

New Delhi. The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to begin from February 19. Some of its matches will be played in Pakistan and some in Dubai. The ICC has earlier appointed 3 other players, including Shikhar Dhawan, as the brand ambassador for the Champions Trophy. The ICC took the decision on Wednesday.

Former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan was named as one of the four events for the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan and Dubai from 19 February to 9 March on Wednesday. Apart from Dhawan, the all-star cast also includes Pakistan’s 2017 winning captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson and New Zealand veteran fast bowler Tim Southee.

Dhawan, who was a Player of the Series in India’s 2013 Trophy-winning campaign, said in a ICC release, “Being a part of the Champions Trophy is a special feeling and getting an opportunity to enjoy the upcoming session as a brand ambassador. The thing is.”
