Both the teams have already come to Noida for this. But the game is not happening. Actually, it rained here a day before the match started. It kept drizzling at night as well. But on the day (Monday) when the match was to start, it did not rain at all. There were clouds for some time and the sun shone for some time. But due to the wet outfield and poor drainage of the stadium, the first day’s game had to be canceled without even a single ball being bowled.

Due to this, the lunch break was taken on the second day as well without even a single ball being bowled.

An official of the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) had said on Monday, ‘There is a lot of chaos here. We will never come back here again. All the players are unhappy with the facilities here. When we talked to the concerned people, we were assured that all the preparations are good. But this is not the case at all.’
