Shahrukh Khan’s son’s name reflects Islam and Judaism, King Khan’s strong mind is behind Abram

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most famous actors of Bollywood. he/she has been ruling hearts for decades. The actor is married to Gauri Khan and has three children. In an old interview, Shah Rukh Khan revealed the reason behind naming his/her youngest son AbRam. During a conversation with fans, Shah Rukh revealed why he/she chose the unique name of the son. In Rajat Sharma Ki Aap Ki Adalat, Shah Rukh Khan was asked by a fan why he/she named his/her youngest son AbRam and what the name means. he/she replied, ‘First of all, in Islam Hazrat Ibrahim is known as Abraham in the Bible and in Judaism it is Abram. I thought that since my wife (Gauri Khan) is Hindu and I am Muslim, we wanted our children to feel the spirit of secularism at home.’

Why did Shahrukh Khan name his/her son AbRam?

he/she further added, ‘Many people did not like it and it became a controversy, but I believe that there is secularism in our home just like in our country.’ Talking about the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy shooting for ‘King’, which will reportedly also star his/her daughter Suhana Khan and ‘Munjya’ star Abhay Verma. At the Locarno Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan also spoke about King for the first time and said, ‘It is an action drama, it is a Hindi film.’

he/she said, ‘It will be interesting. I have been wanting to do a film like this for a while and I have been wanting to do a film like this for seven, eight years. We felt Sujoy would be right because we wanted it to be very emotionally correct. We are all coming together to make a good, action film.’

Shahrukh has only one dream

King Khan further said that despite coming to Hollywood, his/her ultimate dream is not to come to the global stage. It is something much bigger. Shah Rukh said, ‘My dream is that an Indian film is watched by the same kind of audience as a big Hollywood film is watched, whether I am a part of it as an actor, as a people person, as a producer, as a writer.’

Preparing for the King

he/she also said, ‘The next film I am doing is King, I have to start working on my film King. Have to lose some weight, do some stretching so that my waist doesn’t get stuck while doing action. It is painful. The worst thing is to see me on the set after action because I look great in the film but I am tied up.’
