Shahrukh Khan rejected Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy movie ‘Chamunda’!

Horror comedy movies are the favorite topic of the audience at present. After films like ‘Stree’, ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Munjya’, there is a huge craze for such genre. There was news that Shahrukh Khan is also going to join this cinematic universe. he/she was reportedly in talks with Dinesh Vijan and director Amar Kaushik for ‘Chamunda’. It also stars Alia Bhatt. But now Shahrukh has rejected this project. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, ‘Chamunda’ is an important project in the horror-comedy universe of Maddock Films. The makers were interested in casting Shah Rukh Khan in it, but this wish could not be fulfilled.

Shahrukh wants to work in a new project

Reports are saying that Shahrukh has refused to be a part of it. Instead he/she expressed interest in working on a new project with Maddock and Amar Kaushik.

Search for other actors for ‘Chamunda’

Reports suggest that Shah Rukh had requested Maddock and Amar Kaushik to create a new concept in an unexplored genre. As a result, the duo will now look for another actor for ‘Chamunda’. However, they can definitely work together in the future. It has also been revealed that ‘Chamunda’ was one of the many projects which Dinesh Vijan had given to Shahrukh, but their plans did not match.

Shahrukh will be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘King’. It also stars his/her daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. Apart from this, Aditya Chopra is planning to start shooting for ‘Pathan 2’ in the end of 2025 or beginning of 2026. Talking about Alia, she has an ‘Alpha’ with Sharvari. Apart from this, she has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, in which she will be seen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
