Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s love story began after their arranged marriage. They met through their families and later fell in love with each other. At just twenty years of age, Mira decided to leave Delhi for Shahid and married superstar Shahid Kapoor in 2015. With him/her, she moved to the city of dreams, Mumbai. Later, in 2016, the two welcomed their daughter Misha and their family was complete with their son Zain in 2018.Raising a child is not easy and it takes seconds to spoil them and Mira, being an English honours graduate, makes sure that her kids, Misha and Zain stay disciplined. Talking about how they are raising their kids in an interview with ‘Film Companion’, Mira revealed that spoiling kids is easy and one needs a nurturing environment to raise children. She herself earned the tag of a ‘bad cop’.

Mira Rajput said, ‘It is very easy to spoil children. I think a child needs a home to grow up. There are grandparents, uncles, aunts, they all are there. It will always be there. I think I am the bad cop. Usually the bad cop is not giving them what they want or not telling them their bedtime, or not getting them their homework done or not teaching them anything.’

Further, Mira said that Shahid Kapoor is a person who spoils the kids. he/she often gifts them nice shoes and she has to stop Shahid from doing so. Mira said, ‘I feel that their father is spoiling them a bit. he/she brings nice shoes for them and I am like you can’t get them these shoes. On the other hand, he/she is like I don’t want my kids to be like this and then I feel that you are doing this when you are giving them these shoes.’
