Shahid Kapoor does not want his/her children to get into acting, said – Don’t come into the picture, friend.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor does not want his/her children to work in films. Explaining the reason behind this, he/she said that there are a lot of ups and downs in this career and hence he/she wants the children to choose a simple career. Shahid recently appeared in the episode of Raj Shamni’s podcast ‘Figuring Out’. During this, he/she revealed that I do not want my children to do my work. The actor talked about his/her upcoming film ‘Deva’ during the podcast. She also shared her experience of growing up with a single parent and her thoughts about parenting.

Shahid said- I always try to do the right thing

During the podcast, Shahid Kapoor was also asked which qualities he/she wanted to inherit from his/her children and which ones he/she did not. In response, Shahid said, ‘Always do the right thing and I always try to do the right thing. Whether I like it or not, whether someone else doesn’t like it, whether it’s harmful to me or not, it doesn’t matter. I will do the right thing.

Said to the children – Don’t come in the picture friend, do something else

he/she revealed that he/she does not want his/her children to do any of his/her work. There are a lot of things I don’t want them to take from me. I want him/her to be more naturally confident, which I think he/she both is. I was not born that confident. I wouldn’t want him/her to do my work. Don’t come in the picture buddy, do something else, there’s a lot of up and down, it’s very rough. If he/she wants to act then it is his/her choice, but I would say to choose something simple, it is very difficult.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor shared his/her experience of playing the role of Dev Ambre during the trailer launch event of ‘Deva’. The actor said, ‘Deva is a piece of my heart.’ he/she said, ‘For many years, people were telling me that I should do a mass film, something that would connect with the masses. For me, this is the next step in my journey. This has been one of the most challenging films of my career. There is so much in Dev’s character that I don’t want to tell right now, you will have to see it on 31st January.
