Shah Rukh Khan will get Rs 9 crore from Maharashtra government for ‘Mannat’! Know the matter

The Maharashtra government may approve a petition demanding actor Shah Rukh Khan for a return of about Rs 9 crore. In which it has been claimed that the Collector of Mumbai Suburban District (MSD) was given extra money for that land. On which his/her house remains ‘vow’. The bungalow recorded in the name of Shah Rukh Khan and his/her wife Gauri Khan in Bandstand, Bandra West, is originally built on the leased land given to the previous owner by the state government. The government later approved the deal, after which the owner sold the property to Shah Rukh Khan. After this, the couple demanded a return of extra payment made for the land where ‘Mannat’ is now located. This house of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan is spread over 2,446 square meters. Also registered in the name of Shahrukh and Gauri. It is being told that the actor and his/her wife decided to take advantage of the state government’s policy. Under which he/she can get ownership of the previous owner, on that leased land.

Mistake in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Mannat’ case

Gauri and Shah Rukh paid 25 percent of the ready -rated prices in March 2019, which was Rs 27.50 crore. According to sources, later Shahrukh-Gauri came to know that there was a ‘unknown mistake’ while counting the conversion fee from the state government. It is said that while counting the conversion fee, the price of the bungalow was taken into consideration instead of a piece of land.

Shahrukh Khan will get extra money

Now this ‘unknown mistake’ was noticed by the Khan family in September 2022 and Gauri Khan gave a letter to Collector MSD, demanding the return of extra payment, which has been stated to be Rs 9 crore. Sources told the ‘Free Press Journal’ that the Collector has sent it to the state government for final approval. State officials said that additional payment would be refunded after approval.
