Sequel of Shahrukh Khan’s Baazigar will be made after 31 years, producer Ratan Jain confirmed


A film was released in the year 1993. The name was ‘Baazigar’. This film made Shahrukh Khan Shahrukh Khan. It was a negative role, but a great one. Many stars had refused to do this film, but when Shahrukh breathed life into his/her character with his/her strong acting, he/she became famous overnight. Now there is a good news related to this film. It is being told that a sequel of the film is going to be made. Let’s know about ‘Baazigar 2’. Producer Ratan Jain has confirmed that discussions are going on with Shah Rukh Khan about the ‘Baazigar’ sequel. However, there is no concrete plan or script. Ratan Jain expressed his/her intention that he/she would work on this project only when Shahrukh would be in the lead role.

Anil Kapoor was offered the film

Producer Ratan Jain told ETimes, ‘We keep talking to Shahrukh about Baazigar 2, but nothing much has happened, but it will definitely be made.’ This film, released 31 years ago, proved to be the turning point of Shahrukh’s career. It was first offered to Anil Kapoor, but he/she was busy with ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’ and turned down the offer due to lack of dates.

After Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan was approached, but his/her father Salim Khan reportedly did not like the script. he/she wanted a change in the climax. In such a situation, this film finally reached Shahrukh Khan. he/she became very popular in the role of anti-hero and then also did films like ‘Darr’.
