Sequel of ‘Aitraaz’ is being made after 20 years, will Priyanka Chopra wreak havoc on Akshay Kumar again?

Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘Aitraaz’s sequel ‘Aitraaz 2’ will soon hit the cinema screens. This good news was given by producer director Subhash Ghai on the morning of Wednesday 13th November. Subhash Ghai showed a glimpse of the 2004 superhit film ‘Aitraaz’ through social media platform Instagram. This is the photo of global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas. In which she is seen in a white outfit. In the post, she praised Priyanka Chopra and wrote, ‘Bold and beautiful Priyanka Chopra showed courage and did it. This is the reason why cinema lovers have not been able to forget the character he/she played in ‘Aitraaz’ even after 20 years. Aitraaz was created by my Mukta Arts. At first Priyanka was hesitant in playing this role, but then she played the character of this woman very well with full confidence.

After remembering the moments of old ‘Aitraaz’, the filmmaker announced the second installment of ‘Aitraaz’. Wrote, ‘Now Mukta Arts is ready for Aitraaz 2 with 3 years of hard work and an excellent script. Just wait.’

What was the story of ‘Aitraaz’?

Released in 2004, this romantic-thriller was directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Subhash Ghai. It was the story of a man (Akshay Kumar) who was accused of sexual harassment by his/her boss (Priyanka Chopra). The man’s case is fought by his/her lawyer wife (Kareena Kapoor) and the decision comes in his/her (Akshay Kumar’s) favor. Now what will be the story and what will be the characters in the next part, nothing has been revealed yet. However, Akshay and Priyanka have not worked together since 2005. Because when their affair was discussed and Twinkle Khanna created a ruckus on the set, both of them had stopped talking.
