Selection of women’s cricket team is happening here in Bihar, know the process of team selection

Jamui. BCCI had organized some matches of Ranji Trophy in Patna this year. However, the performance of Bihar team was not that good. But Ranji Trophy was discussed a lot and cricket was revived in Bihar once again. Now, taking this forward, Bihar Women’s Cricket Team is being selected. The entire selection process will take place in Jamui. During this, the Under-19 and Senior teams of Bihar Women’s Cricket Team will be selected.

For the next 8 days, many different matches will be played and the team will be selected on the basis of performance. It is worth noting that BCCI has released its full schedule for its next season. In which Bihar team will also participate and the responsibility of selecting the women’s team has been given to Jamui District Cricket Association by Bihar Cricket Association.

All matches will be played on 2 grounds
Giving information about this, President of Jamui District Cricket Association Manoj Kumar Singh said that for the first time Jamui district has got such a big responsibility. he/she said that this entire process will be done in a better way by the District Cricket Association. Manoj Kumar Singh said that the selection process has started from June 11, in which eight Under-19 teams are participating. In which all the matches will be conducted on the basis of T20 by dividing four teams in Jamui and four teams in Jhajha.

Two matches will be played in a day at both the places. he/she said that the team will be selected on the basis of the better performance of the players in all the matches.

Senior team also has to be selected
President Manoj Kumar Singh said that after completing the selection process of the Under-19 teams, the Bihar Senior Women’s Cricket Team will also be selected by the District Cricket Association. he/she said that the senior women’s team will reach Jamui from June 16. In which a match of T20 format will be played. Players who perform well in one-day matches will be selected in the Bihar team.

Manoj Kumar Singh said that Yashita Singh and Vaidehi Yadav of Under-19 India D team are also participating in it. Enthusiasm is now being seen among the players regarding this great cricket event in Jamui.
