Chetan Sharma can continue in the post
It was reported on 2 January (Monday) that Chetan Sharma may continue as chief selector. Because Chetan was recently a part of BCCI’s review meeting. BCCI has shortlisted 20 cricketers in this meeting. These players will be given a chance in Team India under the rotation policy before the 50-over World Cup. Then the best performing players from these will be selected in the World Cup team this year. The BCCI disbanded the selection committee after the poor performance of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup 2022.
