New Delhi: In view of the violence erupting in Manipur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah canceled his/her election rallies in Maharashtra on Sunday-Monday. he/she came to Delhi on Sunday morning. After coming here, he/she conducted a security review with the officials regarding the situation in Manipur. On Monday also, Home Minister Shah has called a high level meeting regarding the Manipur issue. In which controlling the deteriorating situation in Manipur and taking other necessary steps will be considered in detail.

15 more CRPF companies leave for Manipur

On the other hand, CRPF DG Anish Dayal Singh also had to go to Manipur to handle the situation. he/she reached Manipur on Sunday. A few days ago, 15 more companies of CRPF were sent to Manipur to handle the situation. If the situation worsens, more central armed forces can be sent to Manipur.

NIA also took over three cases from Manipur Police

In this case, National Investigation Agency NIA has also taken over three cases from Manipur Police. These include 10 suspected militants killed in an encounter with security forces on November 11, a case in which a woman was raped and burnt to death and thirdly, some houses were burnt after which two bodies were recovered. NIA took over these three cases from Manipur Police. In this matter, Kuki group ITLF and INPI are calling this encounter fake. Regarding this, after the post-mortem of the bodies of 10 suspected militants, the Kuki community has refused to cremate these 10 bodies till then. Until their post mortem report is received. Kuki has threatened that if he/she does not get the report, he/she will conduct the post-mortem of these bodies again at the local level. The body of another Kuki was recovered on Sunday morning. he/she was missing since Saturday.

Internet service also stopped in Manipur

On the other hand, of the six Meitei women and children missing since November 11, the bodies of three were recovered on November 15, one on November 16 and the body of a two-and-a-half-year-old child on Sunday morning. A sixth woman, a 25-year-old woman, is also suspected of being murdered. They are being searched. Violence broke out in Manipur on Saturday after bodies of missing Meitei women and children were found. Angry people had attacked the houses of three ministers and six MLAs. Attempts to set fire and sabotage were also made. Seeing the situation going out of control, internet services have also been stopped in all the affected areas of Manipur.
