The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule of Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 on Thursday (January 16). The first match will be played between Gujarat Giants (GG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

New Delhi. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule of Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 on Thursday (January 16). The third session of the Women’s T20 League will be played in four cities. This includes Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Mumbai. The tournament will start on 14th February at BCA Stadium, Baroda.

The first match of the Women’s Premier League will be played between Gujarat Giants (GG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The match will be held in Baroda. A total of six matches will be played in Baroda. After this the action will shift to Bengaluru, where RCB will play its first home match against the champions of the first WPL session Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on 21 February.

RCB will get three more chances to entertain their home crowd. When they will host UP Warriors (UPW) on 24 February, GG on 27 February and Delhi Capitals (DC) on 1 March. The final leg of the tournament will take place in Mumbai, where the prestigious Cricket Club of India (CCI) will host the final two league matches and two high-stakes playoff matches.

Mumbai Indians will play the final match of the league stage against Gujarat and RCB on March 10 and 11 in consecutive home matches. The team finishing at the top position in the playoffs will get a direct place in the finals. The second and third placed teams will face off in an exciting eliminator to be held on March 13. In which the winner will get a chance to play in the finals. The last match i.e. the final will be held on Saturday 15th March.
