The ancient Neel Chhatri temple of Lord Shiva in the form of Neelkanth Mahadev located in Neel Lane, Yamuna Bazaar in Delhi is very ancient. It is believed that it was established during the Mahabharata period. This ancient temple is known for its unique architecture and peaceful atmosphere. It is said that this temple is 5500 years old.

It is believed that the Pandavas established a Shivling here. After performing the puja, they left for their capital Indraprastha (now Delhi). This temple is open from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

This temple is open from 6:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Mangal Mahadev Birla Kanan, located on Tees January Marg in Delhi, is a miraculous temple of Shiva made of white marble, which has a magnificent Shivalinga and is known for its spiritual significance. This temple is spread over about 200 acres. A huge statue of Lord Shiva is installed here. Its height is 100 feet.

If you pass through NH 8, the idol of Lord Shiva of the temple is visible from a distance. This temple is open from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (closed on Monday).

Jhandewalan Devi Mandir located at Rani Jhansi Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi is an octagonal temple. Its top is made in the shape of lotus leaves. On Sawan Shivratri, a large crowd of Shiva devotees gathers here. This temple is open from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm.

True to its name, the Dudheshwar Nath temple is made of white marble similar to the colour of milk. Situated a few kilometres from the Hindon river in Ghaziabad, this self-manifested Shivling attracts devotees with its divine power. It is believed that Raavan performed penance at this temple and offered his/her head to Lord Shiva. Let us tell you, there is a unique well in this temple. People say that its water sometimes tastes sweet and sometimes like milk. The temple is open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.
