Sathee: Your true companion in entrance exam preparation! Where more than 10 lakh students are getting help

The single platform of the Union Education Ministry has emerged as a true companion for the students for the preparation of major entrance tests of the country. Now more than 10 lakh students have registered on the ‘Saathi Platform’ (Self Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams), which was launched with the help of IIT Kanpur in 2003 and the process of joining this platform is going on continuously.

Students preparing for Medical, Engineering, University Entrance, Bank, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) are also getting the support of teachers from IIM, IIT and renowned central universities on this platform. Sathi is being continuously updated and study material for entrance preparation is being uploaded regularly. Soon, law entrance will also be linked to the Saathi platform, for which preparations are being made.

From live classes to video courses:

Live classes and video courses are being provided for the preparation of JEE, NEET, ICAR, CUET, SSC, BANKING. Courses are prepared with the help of professors from IIT and AIIMS. There are more than 8 thousand integrated video lectures on Sathi portal, which are linked with practice problems, previous years’ questions, short notes, mind maps. Students are getting a complete package for preparation in video lectures on different subjects.

Apart from this, there are also more than 90 thousand practice questions. In an exam like CUET, where the syllabus is completely based on NCERT, practice questions of different levels have been created from NCERT books for this exam. A senior official of the Education Ministry says that there are more than 18 thousand such sessions on the portal, in which students’ questions are answered, these have been named doubt clearing sessions.

Whatever questions the students have in their minds, answers to almost all the questions are found through these sessions. There is no dearth of practice questions and if students still have some problems then the option of live classes is also available on this portal.

Successful candidates of IIT, AIIMS also join live:

The Live Doubt Clearing Session and Mentorship Scheme has engaged more than 400 students from IITs and AIIMS who have cleared these exams in previous years. he/she shares his/her experiences and talks live with students about entrance test preparation. New students can ask any of their questions to them. Previous years’ questions are easily found here.
Questions from JEE, NEET, NCERT syllabus and important formulas are explained here. From the questions asked in previous years, students get to know the pattern of questions coming in these big exams and practicing questions also increases their confidence.

Crash Course and All India Mock Test Series:

Crash courses of 45 days and 60 days are also conducted on Sathi portal before big exams like JEE and NEET. This means that even one to two months before the exam, the student gets a chance for consolidated learning (complete preparation in a short time). Such courses are also offered to the students in big coaching centres, for which they have to pay huge fees in the coaching centres, but through this portal, students can do crash courses without any fees. Even after that there are some questions and then there is also a live session.

All India Mock Test Series has also been started, online mock tests give students an opportunity to check their preparation level. The Education Ministry is trying to ensure that students who do not take coaching should also get equal opportunities.

The special thing is that one million students have joined this portal and there are also a large number of students who can afford the cost of coaching but they consider this portal of the Ministry of Education as their true companion. Soon the option to prepare for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) will also be available on this online platform.

Integration of AI:

AI integration is also seen on the Sathi portal. AI based analysis, webinars, tutorial sessions also happen here. Study plan, track progress and test strategy are explained through AI-based tools. Apart from English, content is also available in Indian languages. Initially this project was started with IIT Kanpur and now many IITs including IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, Delhi, Madras, Guwahati, Roorkee, Patna are giving their support.

NCERT video solutions, AI based assessment platform, recorded video lectures from mostly IIT professors, mentorship from IIT-AIIMS students and alumni are available here. In Engineering-Medical, professors from IIT and AIIMS guide the students.
