Sarkari Scholarship UP: Every child studying in these schools of UP will get money every month, just fill the scholarship form

There is good news for the school students of Uttar Pradesh. The state government is going to give you a special scholarship. This is also a big decision among the many important decisions taken in the recent cabinet meeting of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The UP government has decided that all the children who study in any Sanskrit school in Uttar Pradesh will get government scholarship. The government will give them money every month. The earlier limit of 50 thousand family income will not be applicable now.

Not only this, it has also been decided to increase the amount of scholarship for students of classes 9 to 12. From now on, students of these Sanskrit schools will be given between Rs 50 to Rs 200 every month.

UP Sanskrit Scholarship: Who will get how much money?

According to official information provided by the Yogi government, the scholarship has been revised after more than two decades. The last revision in the amount was done in 2001. After CM Yogi’s cabinet meeting, Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi said, ‘Most of the children receiving Sanskrit education are from poor sections, so now a provision has been made to provide scholarships to students of Prathama i.e. class 6, 7 and 8 under Sanskrit education.’

The minister said that now children of class 6 and 7 will be given Rs 50 per month and children of class 8 will be given Rs 75 per month. Earlier, students of Purva Madhyam – class 9 and 10 were getting Rs 50 monthly scholarship and children of Uttar Madhyam – class 11 and 12 were getting Rs 80 monthly scholarship. Now, students of class 9 and 10 will be given Rs 100 per month and those studying in class 11 and 12 will be given Rs 200.

How to apply for Sanskrit School Scholarship Scheme?

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that in the current financial year, applications for the scholarship scheme can be submitted offline. The online system will be implemented from the next financial year. he/she said that earlier scholarships were given only to children of families with an annual income of up to Rs 50,000. But now this income limit has been abolished. Currently, there are 517 Sanskrit schools in UP, in which 1,21,573 children study. Everyone will get its benefit.
