Government Jobs Haryana: What’s new in OBC reservation?
- The Haryana CM said that as of now, within the reservation for backward classes in jobs in the state, the annual income limit of the creamy layer is Rs 6 lakh from all sources. This will be increased to Rs 8 lakh.
- he/she said that the reservation for backward classes in Group-A and Group-B posts is 15 percent. Now, on the lines of the Central Government, it will be increased from 15 percent to 27 percent for all backward classes.
- Apart from this, the backlog of backward class-A and B will be filled on priority basis in the jobs. Preparations are being made to run a special recruitment drive for this.
- To ensure that OBC youth get employment easily, he/she also talked about providing 27 per cent reservation for appointment in Haryana Skill Employment Corporation.
Other promises of Haryana CM
Nayab Singh Saini said that in the last 10 years, the government has fulfilled its responsibility in providing benefits to the OBC community at every level in Haryana. Haryana’s Nuh district has been included in the central government’s aspirational scheme. To provide better quality education to the children of OBC community, they are being given full support in the field of education by providing them scholarships ranging from Rs 12 thousand to Rs 20 thousand.
The Chief Minister informed the gathering present at the conference about taking active steps to focus on the beautification of the urban area. he/she said that in the coming one week, garbage heaps will not be seen in any ward of Gurgaon urban area. Necessary instructions have been given to the officials in this regard and by June 30, along with improving the cleaning system of drains, concrete steps will be taken to make the city roads free from garbage.
