‘Sarfira’ surprised everyone on Tuesday, instead of falling, its earnings increased! ‘Hindustani 2’ neither made a profit nor a loss

Tuesday was a good day for Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’. The film may be earning at a slow pace, but the good thing is that it has maintained its hold over crores even in the weekdays. The interesting thing is that while its earnings fell by -72% on Monday, the earnings increased by about 35% on Tuesday. On the other hand, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ (Hindustani 2 in Hindi) did the same business on Tuesday as it did on Monday. Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earned the highest amount of Rs 5.1 crore at the Indian box office on Tuesday as well. ‘Sarfira’, directed by Sudha Kongara, is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Sudha had also directed this film in Tamil. According to sacnilk’s report, on Tuesday, the fifth day of its release, ‘Sarfira’ has made a net collection of Rs 1.95 crore in the country. A day earlier on Monday, it had earned Rs 1.45 crore. The total collection of the film is now Rs 15.40 crore in five days.

Worldwide collection of ‘Sarfira’

Apart from Akshay Kumar, ‘Sarfira’ also stars Radhika Madan. The acting of both of them is being praised a lot in the film. Made in a budget of Rs 80 crore, this film has grossed Rs 22.25 crore worldwide in 5 days. It is also worth understanding here that both the films ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Indian 2’ currently running in theatres have been released in Hindi as well as other South Indian languages, whereas ‘Sarfira’ has been released only in Hindi.

‘Indian 2’ earned Rs 3 crore on Tuesday too

Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ had a blockbuster start at the box office. In the first weekend, the film earned 59 crores in the country. But as soon as the weekdays started, its earnings went down. However, on Tuesday it did the same business as Monday, earning 3.00 crores. Thus, in five days, the film has earned 65.15 crores in the country including Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

Kamal Haasan’s film crossed 117 crores worldwide

‘Indian 2’ has collected a gross of Rs 117.45 crore worldwide in five days. The problem is that the budget of the film is Rs 250 crore. In such a situation, it has a long way to go to prove itself a hit. Another concern of ‘Indian 2’ is that its earnings from the Hindi version are disappointing. In 5 days, this film has earned 4.65 crores from Hindi in the country.
