Sarfaraz Khan’s place is not confirmed, this player is sure to get a chance in Bangladesh Test

New Delhi. The team for the Test series to be played against Bangladesh has been announced. Experienced batsman KL Rahul has got a place in the team. Sarfaraz Khan’s bold attitude in the home series against England impressed everyone but when it comes to selecting the playing eleven against Bangladesh, KL Rahul’s experience will benefit him/her. The team management and selection committee are completely focused on the Australia tour in November-December and Rahul has the experience of playing 50 Test matches which will benefit him/her.

For the team management, it is a choice between the fearlessness of a young player (Sarfraz) and an experienced Test captain who has been part of the national team for a decade. A source in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on the condition of anonymity, “People from outside do not understand how the team works and what kind of system is there. KL scored a century in his/her last three Test matches in South Africa which is one of the best Test innings in recent times and scored 86 runs in his/her last Test in Hyderabad before getting injured.

he/she said, “he/she was not dropped from the team but he/she got injured. he/she is fit and available, he/she scored a half-century in Duleep, he/she got a chance to play the match and he/she will play.”

Domestic cricket star Sarfraz started off with two half-centuries in his/her debut match against England in Rajkot and a half-century in Dharamsala. he/she showed precise footwork and improvement against both fast and slow bowlers. The source said, “Sarfraz has done everything right. If any player is injured, he/she will be included. Rahul’s experience is unmatched. The team management is not only looking at Bangladesh but is also focused on the series against Australia, where past experience matters.”
