Sarfaraz Khan showed a unique style on the field to save Rishabh Pant from being run out.


New DelhiSarfaraz Khan scored his/her first Test century at the Bangalore ground and his/her trouble-shooting partnership with Rishabh Pant brought India back into the match.
During this partnership, a scene was seen on the field which brought to mind the 1992 World Cup. Rishabh Pant narrowly escaped being run out on the first ball of the 56th over of the innings. Actually, Sarfaraz bowled a good length delivery from Matt Henry. he/she pushed the ball at deep backward point and took out a single, but without looking at the fielder, he/she went for the second run. In such a situation, Sarfaraz stopped him/her by shouting.

Sarfaraz Khan was so eager to send Pant back that he/she started jumping on the pitch to convince Rishabh Pant not to run away. Seeing Sarfaraz Khan’s jump, the entire Indian team including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma sitting in the dressing room could not stop themselves from laughing.
