Sara Ali Khan shows spiritual journey on completion of 6 years of ‘Kedarnath’, glimpse of Sushant also seen

Sara Ali Khan celebrated the sixth anniversary of her debut film ‘Kedarnath’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor, starring late Sushant Singh Rajput. On this occasion, he/she shared a nostalgic video on Instagram, which also shows his/her recent trip to Kedarnath. She was seen arriving at the Kedarnath temple wearing a bright red sweatshirt and white leggings. In the video, Sara was seen raising slogans of Har Har Mahadev during her darshan at the Kedarnath temple. Recalling her first visit, she said in an emotional note, ‘When I went to Kedarnath for the first time, I was not an actress. I didn’t even know if I was me or not. Everything I am has come from there, everything I am. Thank you very much, and just keep calling and I keep going.

The actress also shared an emotional video featuring clips from the film with her late co-actor Sushant Singh Rajput, set to the song ‘Namo Namo’. In her caption, she recalled the film and said, ‘6 years of Kedarnath, sometimes it seems like it was just yesterday and sometimes it seems like a lifetime away… Jai Bholenath, for making me Thank you for… and thank you for this. Thank you for giving me memories of a lifetime.

Story of ‘Kedarnath’

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, ‘Kedarnath’, released on 7 December 2018, is a romantic drama based on inter-religious love and relationships. Mukku, a rich Hindu girl played by Sara Ali Khan, and Mansoor, a Muslim porter (Sushant Singh Rajput). Set during the 2013 Uttarakhand floods, the film explores love amidst social challenges.

Sara Ali Khan’s next film

On the work front, Sara will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro…In Dino’ alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal and Kay Kay Menon. This film, which explores modern-day relationships, is not ready for release yet.
