Sapna Choudhary does not want to play her own role in her biopic, said- I don’t want to go back to those days

She said that she would not like to play her own role in the biopic. The dancer and actress also explained the reason for this. Sapna Choudhary talked about the film being made on her life in an interview given to our colleague ETimes. Sapna told that when she met the filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Vinay Bhardwaj, she felt a strong connection with the project. She praised Mahesh Bhatt and Vinay Bhardwaj for having a good understanding of her story and the vision of the film.

However, Sapna Choudhary said that she would not like to play her own role. About this, she said, ‘It feels good that a biopic is being made on my life. Although, when I met Mahesh Bhatt and Vinay Bhardwaj, I had many proposals from other production houses, but I could see that they (Mahesh Bhatt and Vinay Bhardwaj) understand my story. They also understand how I want to bring it on screen. There have been many ups and downs in my life. People have seen me only on stage – that Sapna, which she herself has shown to the people.’

Sapna Choudhary further said, ‘But my struggle, even bullets were fired at me, but it did not stop me from becoming what I am today. Perhaps this was the pledge I had taken that I will do what I like. Whether I get success or not, it does not matter to me. Whether people are watching me or not, I did not care about it.’

Sapna said on her fearless attitude towards danger, ‘I was never afraid because if something was to happen, it would happen and no one can stop it. I am a very lucky person and if something was to happen, it could have happened at home and I came back from God’s house three or four times.’

When Sapna Choudhary was asked if she would like to play her own role in a biopic, she said, ‘No, I don’t want to play my own role. I have come out of there, I don’t want to see those days again. Apart from this, I don’t have anyone’s name in mind who would play my character in the biopic.’
