Sambhal: Stone pelting on the police team that arrived after the information of the quarrel, report lodged, 16 accused including many women arrested

In village Gumsani of Asmoli police station area, the police was attacked only after reaching the information of the dispute between the two parties. The policemen somehow defended. When additional police force was called from the station, the accused started running away. Police arrested 16 accused. On the basis of the Inspector’s Tahrir, a case has been registered against 17 nominated and some unknown from both sides.

On Thursday morning, there was a dispute between the two parties over something. They were beaten with sticks and stones were pelted at each other. On information, when the police team led by Inspector Akash Kumar reached the village, both sides pelted stones at the police team itself. The police personnel somehow came to the rescue and called additional police force from the police station. The accused who were pelting stones at the police team were arrested.

Station in-charge Sanjay Singh said that the police had reached on the information of the dispute between the two parties. There was a dispute between these two sides regarding something. Meanwhile, the police team was attacked. The arrested accused include Anand, Samarpal, Rajkumar, Vipin, Ranjit, Ajay, Patram, Vishal Bharti, Chatru, Monty, Kavita, Malka, Laxmi, residents of village Gumsani and Sonu, Virendra and Kuldeep, residents of village Shahpur. Unknown is being identified.
