South actress Sai Pallavi is all set to play the role of Mata Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. The first look of the actress from the film was leaked online and fans also got excited. However, now a video of her has surfaced in which she is saying that ‘Pakistani people call the Indian Army a terrorist group.’ The viral clip of Sai Pallavi is from an interview held in January 2022. In the video, he/she can be heard saying, ‘People in Pakistan think that our army is a terrorist group. But for us they are not. I don’t understand this violence. This has angered the fans and the actress is now facing criticism for this.

As soon as the video resurfaced, netizens criticized Sai Pallavi for such comments. An X user asked – Has India ever invaded the territories of other countries, which would be considered terrorist? Hasn’t India always had to bear the brunt of defending its territories from Pakistan and China? Then why would Indian soldiers be considered terrorists?
