‘Saala copies’, Amitabh Bachchan ruined Mukesh Khanna’s career? Shaktiman accused of copying

Mukesh Khanna was accused of copying Amitabh Bachchan. Talking about the same, the actor shared an anecdote about how Big B had allegedly once said something that stuck with him/her. The actor revealed that a friend of Amitabh had said that Mukesh imitates him/her. Despite meeting Amitabh several times thereafter, Mukesh said that they never worked together or discussed it during their conversations. Recently during a conversation with YouTube channel Hindi Rush, Mukesh Khanna said, ‘ I worked in an advertisement. It was an ad where I wear perfume and girls start looking at me. A man told me that he/she was present in a theater when this advertisement was being played. he/she was a friend of Amitabh and Amit ji has a special style of language. If I were in his/her place I would probably say the same thing. he/she told me that Amit ji saw the advertisement and said, ‘Saala copies’. You may call me proud or stubborn, but I said to that man, ‘Are you crazy, he/she would say that?’

Amitabh ruined his/her career

Mukesh also told how this matter went to the media. he/she told that many people said that a statement by Amitabh Bachchan ended Mukesh’s career. Mukesh said, ‘We never worked together, but to say that Amitabh Bachchan ended my career is an absurd statement.’ he/she recalled a conversation with a journalist who tried to provoke him/her by asking whether just one comment from Amitabh had ‘ruined’ his/her career. Mukesh had called him/her mad.

Mukesh said that he/she has met Amitabh 10 times since hearing about the alleged comment. he/she shared one such meeting, which took place on a flight from London to India, where both of them greeted each other before taking their seats. Mukesh said that his/her career choices were never influenced by Amitabh. he/she said, ‘I worked in few films because I signed only a few films. Amitabh did not stop me from acting in Mahabharata or Shaktimaan.
