SA vs PAK: First troubled the batsmen, then gave class to the bowlers too, Bosch made the condition of Pakistan worse.

New Delhi. In the first test match being played between Pakistan and South Africa (Pakistan vs South Africa), fast bowler Corbin Bosch performed brilliantly in his/her debut test and scored a half-century, putting South Africa in a strong position in the first test against Pakistan. Bosch took 4 wickets in the first innings. By the end of the second day’s play, Pakistan had scored 88 runs and lost 3 wickets.

Bosch scored unbeaten 81 runs in 93 balls, which is the highest score by a number nine batsman on debut in Test cricket. Due to this, South Africa got a lead of 90 runs in the first innings due to which it scored 301 runs. South Africa started playing at 82 runs for three wickets. Temba Bavuma (31) and David Bedingham (30) were out in the first session. Captain Aiden McCram scored 89 runs and he/she returned after being caught by Mohammad Rizwan behind the wicket on the ball of Khurram Shahzad. Markram was batting brilliantly but he/she missed the century.

Pakistan has scored 88 runs for three wickets in the second innings and is trailing by two runs when the play was stopped early on the second day due to bad light. Babar Azam is playing with 16 runs and Saud Shakeel is playing with eight runs. South Africa has to win one of the two Test matches against Pakistan to make the World Test Championship final at Lord’s next year. Sri Lanka, India and Australia are also in the race.

Pakistan’s opening batsman Saim Ayub and captain Shan Masood were both out after scoring 28 runs. Pakistan lost three wickets within 25 runs in the last session. Kagiso Rabada dismissed Ayub while Marco Jansen took the wickets of Masood and Kamran Ghulam. It will be interesting to see how many runs target Pakistan can give to South Africa.
