S Jaishankar News: How are India’s relations with China now? Foreign Minister Jaishankar told the whole thing in Lok Sabha

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today informed the House about the recent relations between China and India. Jaishankar made it clear that disengagement has been completely completed in the areas of eastern Ladakh. Now both the countries are talking on this issue to avoid further tension. Jaishankar said that India and China have been talking for decades to end the border dispute on LAC. he/she said that we have agreed to resolve the dispute by mutual consent. he/she told that in May-June 2020, China had deployed a large number of soldiers on the LAC, after which Indian soldiers faced problems in patrolling. After the tension in Galwan, the tension between the two countries had increased significantly. After this, India also deployed a large number of weapons and soldiers on the LAC.

Disengagement complete on LAC

The Foreign Minister told in the Lok Sabha that disengagement on LAC has been completed. he/she said that disengagement has also been completely completed in Eastern Ladakh and Demchok. he/she said that now talks are going on on the issue of reducing tension. he/she said that new technology is being used in high altitude areas. We look forward to helping our soldiers. Our relations with China have progressed, but it is true that due to past incidents, relations have not yet reached the level they were before. he/she said that in the coming days we will discuss to ensure that there is no further dispute with China. Jaishankar said that we will talk keeping our national security paramount.

Jaishankar said in his/her speech that in 1991, both the countries had agreed to peace on LAC. Continued agreement on restoring peace on LAC in 1993. Both countries are committed to improving the situation. The mention of such agreements is to remind us of what happened between the two countries. The deployment of Indian troops was done with the preparation that no further incident happens.

India has acted more strictly than before – Jaishankar
While speaking in the Lok Sabha, the Foreign Minister of India said that after recent experiences, we have taken strict action on the border. Both sides should strictly follow the border agreement. Both parties are committed to abide by this agreement. In the new situation things may not be as normal as they used to be. In such a situation, it is necessary to follow the mutual agreement. The government has said that India-China relations cannot be normal until the situation on the border becomes normal. Let us make it clear that our mutual relations are guaranteed to improve only on the basis of peace and compromise. China’s Foreign Minister and Defense Minister have also spoken to their Chinese counterparts. Talks are going on at the diplomatic level and similar work is going on at the military level also.

Jaishankar told with whom the discussion took place

Jaishankar said in the Lok Sabha that I had mentioned the agreement signed on October 21 with the Chinese Foreign Minister. I had mentioned the problems regarding patrolling in Depsang and Demchok. After this, patrolling has started in the traditional areas of these two areas. Normal activity has also started here. I spoke with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the Rio conference. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spoke with China’s Defense Minister in Vietnam. Both the ministers talked about the recent border agreement. After the incidents in Galwan in May-June 2020 and July 2020, our government made it clear that no agreement can be reached until both the armies withdraw from these areas. Disengagement has been completed in Eastern Ladakh. Disengagement has also been completed in Demchok.
