RSMSSB CET 2024: The pattern of Rajasthan CET exam has changed, this time you will get 3 new things

RSMSSB CET Exam 2024: Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has started online applications for the graduate level recruitment exam Common Eligibility Test (CET) from Friday, 9 August. Candidates can fill the application form till 7 September by visiting the official website rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. Through this exam, candidates will be able to participate in big recruitments in Rajasthan. Which includes Platoon Commander, Jailor, Patwari, Zilladar, VDO, Tehsil Revenue Accountant. But this time some big changes have been made in this exam.

Rajasthan CET Negative Marking: Will be implemented first

This time three major changes have been made in the Rajasthan Common Eligibility Test (CET) exam. Candidates must know about it. The first change is that this time negative marking has been kept in the CET exam. Earlier, negative marking was not kept in any eligibility exam of the state. REET, PTET, SET, NET etc. exams are also conducted without any negative marking. In such a situation, the candidates going to appear in the exam this year will have to attempt the questions carefully. Because one-third of your marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.

Rajasthan Govt Jobs 2024: There will be more options

The second change in the Rajasthan CET exam is regarding the options of the questions. Now instead of 4, 5 options will be given to answer each question. Earlier, in recruitments through CET exam, only 15 times more candidates than the number of vacancies were called for the main exam. Due to this, only those candidates Government Jobs candidates used to give exams of 100 per cent and other candidates did not get a chance. But now according to the new change, candidates securing 40 per cent marks will also be able to appear in the main recruitment exam.

Rajasthan CET Exam Eligibility: Eligibility

  • Educational Qualification- Graduation
  • Age Limit- Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 40 years. Relaxation will also be given to reserved categories.
  • Application Fee- General/OBC/Other State candidates will have to pay Rs 600 as application fee. Whereas for OBC (NCL)/ST/SC this fee has been fixed at Rs 400.
  • Exam Date- 25 to 28 September 2024.
  • Correction fee- Rs 300.

A total of 150 questions will be asked in the CET exam. This exam will be taken in MCQ type. Candidates will have to solve it in a total of 3 hours. For any other information related to the recruitment, candidates can visit rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
