Recently, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has increased the number of RRB ALP recruitment released in January 2024. In this recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot, where earlier candidates were to be appointed on 5696 posts, now it has been increased almost three times. Now 18799 posts of Loco Pilot will be recruited.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 Zone Wise Vacancy: Posts increased three times

RRB ALP Paper Pattern 2024: Selection will be done in four stages

Let us tell you that the application process for this recruitment started from 20 January 2024, while the candidates could fill the application form till 19 February 2024. To get selected for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot, the candidates will have to go through four stages. There will be a computer based test in the first stage. The candidates shortlisted in this exam will also have to appear for the second CBT exam. After this there will be a computer based aptitude test and lastly there will be verification of the documents of the candidates.

Railway Govt Jobs : Negative marking also

The Assistant Loco Pilot exam is proposed to be held between June and August. Talking about the pattern of the CBT exam, in the first exam, candidates will have to answer 75 questions in 1 hour. This paper will be qualifying only. The second paper will be taken in two parts. Which is divided into Part A and Part B. There will be one-third negative marking in both these exams. No marks will be deducted for wrong answers in the Computer Based Aptitude Test.
