Root broke Sachin’s test record, left him/her behind in terms of runs in the fourth innings.

New Delhi. The bat of former England cricket team captain Joe Root is continuously making record after record. This experienced batsman made a big record of the great batsman Sachin Tendulkar in his/her name during the Test series against New Zealand. Root has broken Tendulkar’s record of scoring most runs in the fourth innings of Test cricket.

The England team took the lead over New Zealand with a big win in the first match of the three-match Test series. The modest target of 104 runs was achieved by losing 2 wickets and took a 1-0 lead with a win of 8 wickets. Joe Root played an unbeaten inning of 23 runs on 15 balls while chasing the target in the second innings of the first Test played in Christchurch Test against New Zealand. Thanks to this innings, he/she made a big record in his/her name.

England’s Joe Root has now reached the top after scoring 1,630 runs in 49 innings. his/her average is 41.79 and he/she has two centuries and eight half-centuries to his/her name. Great Indian batsman Tendulkar remained at the top for 11 years. This veteran had scored 1,625 runs in 60 innings, his/her average was 36.93 which included three centuries and seven half-centuries.
