Team India vice -captain Shubman Gill has given a statement on Rohit’s retirement news. Gill made it clear on the eve of the Champions Trophy final match against New Zealand that Rohit has neither told him/her nor the entire team about this about it. Gill and Rohit have been opening together in ODIs for the last few years. Gill says that Rohit’s eyes are only on winning the Champions Trophy final and on bringing the trophy home.
