Rohit is fit, will go with the team to Australia but not sure of playing the first test

Team India will play in the 5-match Test series Border Gavaskar Trophy from 22nd November. There is doubt regarding captain Rohit Sharma’s play in the first match. However, it has been decided that he/she will leave for Australia tour with the Indian team.

There is a lot of uncertainty about captain Rohit Sharma playing in the first test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. According to reports, he/she is going to become a father for the second time, which has raised doubts about his/her playing in the first Test. After losing the series against New Zealand, Rohit confirmed that he/she is not sure whether he/she will be able to play in the first match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy or not.

Doubt over Rohit Sharma playing Perth Test
According to the information, Rohit Sharma will leave for Australia with the Indian team on November 10. It was believed that he/she would also play in the first test against Australia. A report in India Today said that Rohit cannot play in the Perth Test despite going to Australia. The report quoted a BCCI source as saying that Rohit will go to Australia but it cannot be confirmed that he/she will play in the first Test.

The source told India Today, “he/she is traveling with the Indian team, but there is no confirmation yet about playing the first match in the first Test. What happens next regarding this remains to be seen. “his/her availability depends on his/her personal reasons.”

Why decided to go to Australia?
There may be a special reason behind Rohit Sharma’s decision to travel with the Indian team. Team India will play its first test match on 22nd November and there is a lot of time before that. Rohit can use this time to adapt to Australian conditions. After this he/she can return to India to live with Ritika Sajdeh. Rohit can join the team after paternity leave. he/she will have already spent some time in Australia, he/she will not need additional time to adapt to the conditions.
