Road accident in Nagaur: 5 policemen going to protect PM Modi’s public meeting died, car collided with trolley on NH58

Nagaur: Five policemen have died in a road accident in Nagaur district of Rajasthan. While two are seriously injured. The injured policemen have been admitted to JLN Hospital in Nagaur. It is being told that all the policemen who lost their lives are from Khinvsar police station. According to information received from the police department, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address an election rally in Jhunjhunu on Sunday. Keeping this in view, the duty of these policemen was put at the venue of the meeting.

They were going to Jhunjhunu on Sunday morning in a police car of Khinvsar police station of Nagaur. During this, the policemen’s car collided with a trolley on the road. Five policemen died on the spot in the accident, while two policemen were injured. This accident took place on National Highway 58 between Kanuta and Khabadiana in Churu district.

Policemen Ramchandra, Kumbharam, Thanaram, Laxman Singh and Suresh of Khinvsar police station of Nagaur district died in the accident. The seriously injured policemen include one constable Sukhram and another head constable Sukhram. Both are undergoing treatment at JLN Hospital in Nagaur. It is being told that the car carrying policemen collided with a truck coming from the front, due to which the accident took place.

There was panic in the police department as soon as the information about the policemen’s car accident was received. As soon as the local police station received information about the accident, a team was sent to the spot as an emergency security team. The injured policemen were taken out from the crashed car and immediately taken to the hospital. Policemen say that looking at the condition of the car, it seems that the accident took place in a head-on collision between a car and a trolley.
