New Delhi. After a great performance in the UP T20 League, Rinku Singh is now ready to dominate the Duleep Trophy. Meerut Mavericks, captained by Rinku, qualified for the playoffs by winning eight out of 10 matches in the UP T20. Rinku also performed brilliantly with bat and ball. But Rinku is now eager to perform better in the Duleep Trophy. Bowlers will have to be cautious of Rinku. The pressure has also increased on experienced Shreyas Iyer and Sarfaraz Khan. Shreyas managed to hit a fifty in the first round while Sarfaraz missed. However, Sarfaraz has been selected for the first Test match against Bangladesh. The matches of the second round of the Duleep Trophy will be played from Thursday (September 12). The matches will start at 9:30 am.

The players of the Indian team have been given rest before the first Test against Bangladesh starting on September 19 in Chennai. Due to which many stars will not be able to play in the second round.
