Republic Day: Stars on constitution, mental health, animals and urbanization talk and change

Republic Day is important not only for common people like you but also for special people like film artists. That is because this day is the day of the implementation of our Constitution. This special day reminds us of our rights and duties. Our constitution is perfect in itself, but what are the issues on which amendments can be made on the law or new laws can be made. The stars spoke on this issue. The philosophy of our constitution is very beautiful: Gul Panag
I have studied advocacy, so I would definitely like to say that there is no stone unturned in our laws, but there is no effort to implement them. In our criminal jurisprudence, three Major Acts have been changed, which further enriches the law. There are timely amendments in the Constitution. The shortcomings are not in the law, they are in the process of implementing it. We have a rule and a law for everything. Our Constitution is one of the most beautiful constitutions in the world. During the study of advocacy, we analyze our constitution with the constitution of other countries of the world, with American Constitution, Irish Constitution, Canadian Act and Megnna Carta and we find our constitution very high. We are talking about Republic Day, of a day when we were subject to the Constitution. I believe that there is scope for amendment in laws, but the philosophy of our constitution is very beautiful, I think we should implement it with full devotion.

Law in the growth of cities should be foresight: Ishwak Singh
I think how to grow our cities, those laws should be amended. How can we enrich them? What kind of buildings should be there, how should the roads be, what should be the infrastructure of cities, how should the city be clean? There should be strict laws on all these issues. Many times I find myself displaced in my city of Delhi and when I talk to Mumbai people, they also say that the outline of the city was different. When I go to my house, I find my own area distophopian. I am not against the development, but I think the laws that are made, are they implemented correctly? I think there should be foresight in the development of cities.

Strict laws should be made with animals: Ada Sharma
Republic Day has been attracted to me a lot since childhood. When we were in school, we used to proudly participate in the parade on the occasion of Republic Day, but at that time I had no idea that I would grow up in patriotic films Bastar, Commandos etc. As far as the constitution is concerned, I think strict laws should be made against those who oppress animals. I am associated with many institutions working in the interests of animals. There are many people who are very kind to these innocent creatures and work for their interests, but many people are also psychopaths about animals and torture them. Many times there is a plight of animals living on the streets, laws should be made for the protection of such animals, because these poor are not a lawyer of silent animals. Those who harass them should be punished severely.

Constitution should be amended for awareness of mental health: Raima Sen
Republic Day has special significance because it is a symbol of adopting the Indian Constitution, which reflects the country’s commitment to democracy and justice. I remember those days of school, when we used to participate in various events such as the flag hoisting ceremonies, cultural programs and parade. These programs promoted the spirit of pride and unity among us students and made us realize our responsibilities as a citizen. For improvement in the country, I believe that a constitutional amendment should be brought that ensure extensive mental health support for all citizens. A subject like mental health should be given priority in schools. Funds should grow for mental health activities. One such national mental health policy should be made to be made and make people aware by eliminating taboos associated with mental health. Considering mental health as a fundamental right, we can create a healthy society, improve overall welfare, and promote productivity in various fields.

Our country with unity in diversity is our: Tanisha Mukherjee
Our enthusiasm was seen in school on Republic Day. On this day we children would go to school in Indian dress like saree. Wandering the flag and singing his/her national anthem proudly. As far as the constitution is concerned, people may find my views controversial, but I think we definitely need to consider a more progressive and new way to rule India. We are still following the British system of Parliament. We are still following American ideals of freedom. We need to decide what our ideals of freedom are. We know how we fought the freedom struggle? Which strong cultural heritage and values were our freedom fighters? So our constitution should be based on those ideas. I think India definitely needs to find its way to define democracy and decide the real meaning of freedom. We are a country of unity in diversity, where many culture and religion live together. Yes, our own cultural and social issues can vary, because we are a very large population country. This is the reason why I think India needs to find a new way to define as democracy.
