Now in an interview, Remo D’Souza’s wife Liezel D’Souza has denied the news of her husband receiving death threats. However, he/she said that a spam email had come, which the police is investigating. When Hindustan Times contacted Remo, his/her wife Liesel dismissed these reports. he/she said, ‘No, this news is wrong, there is nothing like that. We have also read about this (in the media). We received spam emails on the company’s email ID regarding something else, about which we have informed the police. The cyber department is investigating it and they also feel it is spam.

‘If there is anything, the police will investigate it’

he/she said, ‘There is nothing to worry about. If there is anything, the police will investigate it. I don’t know why it has been linked (to death threats). It is possible that the media may have reported wrongly. “Maybe it was meant for someone else, and they may have passed things along to others.” “There are some spam emails that are spreading everywhere,” he/she said. This may have gone not just to one but to many people. According to an ANI report, on December 14 last year, an email was sent by a person named Vishnu to Rajpal Yadav’s email account, in which it was allegedly said that Yadav, his/her family and his/her associates would be killed.

An FIR lodged at Amboli Police Station, Mumbai
