When will the REET eligibility test be held in 2025?

The application process for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test has started from 16th December. In which the last date for the candidates is 15 January 2025. REET exam will be conducted on 27th February 2025. However, keeping in mind the number of applicants and availability of examination centres, the dates can be continued further. What is the qualification required to appear in REET exam?

Rajasthan TET Exam 2024 is for two Level-1 and Level-2. Level 1 Primary is for classes 1 to 5. For which candidates must have passed 12th with minimum 45/50 percent marks from a recognized board. Also, there should be two years Diploma in Elementary Education/BElEd equivalent course (by whatever name known) etc.

Whereas Level-2 Junior Level is for class 6th to 8th. For which candidates should have passed or appearing in Bachelor Degree/Masters Degree with minimum 50 percent marks in B.Ed/Bachelor of Elementary Education. Can B.Ed candidates give REET exam?

Yes, candidates having B.Ed degree can also appear in Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) by filling the form. However, they must have passed Graduation/Post Graduation with minimum 45 percent marks and one year examination in Education. Also it should be with B.Ed (Special Education). (Photo-Freepik)

What are the documents required to fill the REET form?

What is the fee for REET form?

Which subjects come in REET exam?

The syllabus of REET Level-1 and Level-2 is different. In Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2024, questions will be asked from Child Development and Teaching Methods, Hindi, Hindi Grammar, Mathematics, Environmental Studies. Whereas from REET Level-2, questions will come in the exam from subjects like Child Development and Teaching Methods, Language I Hindi, Language II Hindi, Mathematics and Science, Social Studies etc. (Photo-Freepik)

How many marks are required to pass REET?

Different marks have been prescribed for different categories to pass the REET exam. General category candidates should have minimum 60 percent marks to pass REET from NON TSP/TSP. Whereas for NON TSP SC category candidates, there should be 55 percent marks and for TSP SC candidates, there should be 36 percent marks.

SC, OBC, MBC, EWS must have 55 percent marks to pass the REET exam. The pass percentage for REET is 40 percent for all categories of widows and abandoned women and ex-servicemen, 40 percent for disabled people and 36 percent for persons belonging to Sahariya tribe. (Photo-Freepik)

What happens after passing REET?
