Record breaking debut, pushed Kohli, clashed with Siraj, hit Bumrah for a six

New Delhi. Sam Costas made a explosive start in the Boxing Day Test at MCG and put India in trouble. This young opener batted aggressively and scored a half-century in 52 balls and blew away the Indian bowling. A 19 year old youth hit fours and sixes against a deadly bowler like Jasprit Bumrah. In his/her debut match itself, Constas made a record which no batsman had been able to make against India before.

Sam Constas, who came to play the first test match of his/her career for Australia, created a stir with his/her stormy batting. Costas made a big record
Constance made everyone his/her fan by playing a stormy innings on his/her Test debut. he/she became the second youngest player to score a half-century for Australia. The record of the youngest Australian player is in the name of Ian Craig. he/she scored a half-century at the age of 17 years and 240 days. Costas achieved second place in this list by scoring a half-century at the age of 19 years and 85 days. This innings of Costas put Australia in a strong position in the initial stages of the Test. he/she was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja for 60 runs.

Sam Costas created history by becoming the youngest player to score a half-century against India on Test debut. Pakistan’s Mushtaq Mohammad and Shahid Afridi have also scored Test half-centuries against India, but both of their half-centuries were not on Test debut. Costans became the first player under the age of 20 to score a half-century on Test debut against India.
