RCB vs KKR, IPL 2023: Opener Jason Roy’s half-century and skipper Nitish Rana’s flamboyant innings helped Kolkata Knight Riders win IPL 2023 In the 36th match, they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 21 runs and broke the sequence of four consecutive defeats. Chasing the Knight Riders’ target of 201 runs, RCB’s team could only manage 179 runs for eight wickets despite the half-century of captain Virat Kohli (54 runs in 37 balls, six fours). Apart from them, only Mahipal Lomror (34) and Dinesh Karthik (22) could cross the 20-run mark.
