A video also went viral in which Raveena was requesting these women to talk calmly and not to assault them. The matter reached the police and when the CCTV footage was seen, all the allegations against the actress were proved wrong. After this ‘attack’ incident, Raveena came in front of the public for the first time. She attended an event. This incident with Raveena Tandon happened last week, when a group of women claimed that she and her driver assaulted three women, which allegedly included an elderly woman. A shocking video has also surfaced in which these women were attacking the actress.

Raveena was defending the driver when she was attacked

Raveena Tandon was attacked when she was trying to defend her driver. The actress was accused of attacking three women, including a senior citizen, when her driver allegedly hit them with his/her car. However, CCTV footage made it clear that the allegations were false. Raveena did not release any formal statement. However, she did share the statement given by the police officials investigating the incident.

The driver was reversing the car when the argument started

A senior Mumbai police official told Mid-Day, “The complainant has filed a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress’ driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when the family was passing through the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he/she should check if there was anyone else behind the car before reversing. This led to an argument between them.”

Raveena was abused by the crowd

The officer said, ‘The argument escalated to abuse and Raveena Tandon reached the spot to investigate the incident with her driver. She tried to save the driver from the mob, but the mob started abusing her. Both Raveena Tandon and family went to Khar police station and submitted a written complaint. Later, both also submitted letters stating that they do not want to file any complaint.’

No one was injured in the incident

She concluded her statement by saying, ‘No one was injured in this incident. We checked the CCTV footage and the car did not hit anyone.’ Raveena shared the statement on Instagram Stories to clarify the allegations against her.
