Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ is in bad shape in advance booking, know how much it can earn on the first day

Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s ‘Game Changer’ is releasing pan India on Friday, January 10. Originally made in Telugu, this political-action film is clashing with Sonu Sood’s ‘Fateh’ at the box office. The trailer and songs of the film have received decent response. But the advance booking figures are not pleasing. Now only two days are left for the release of the film. But looking at the poor condition of pre-sales booking, it seems that it is going to have a lesser opening than Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut film ‘Zanjeer’ which came 11 years ago. Shankar is the director of ‘Game Changer’. This is her first film with Ram Charan. Not only this, this is also the first Telugu film of Shankar, who was originally famous for Tamil films. Earlier, her ‘Indian 2’ with Kamal Haasan had flopped badly. ‘Game Changer’ is releasing at a time when it has been more than a month since the release of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2- The Rule’. In such a situation, the film has full chance of earning in the new year.

According to the report of sacnilk, till the morning of Wednesday 8 January, gross advance booking of only Rs 1.01 crore has been done for ‘Game Changer’. Out of this, the maximum booking of Rs 89.22 lakh has been made for the Telugu version, pre-sales booking of Rs 3.35 lakh has been made for the Tamil version and Rs 8.29 lakh has been made for the Hindi version. ‘Game changer’ budget, will have to catch up in Hindi

The thing to understand here is that the budget of ‘Game Changer’ is around Rs 500 crore (including promotion). That means, for the film to be a hit or superhit, it will have to earn bumper at the box office. For this, it is most important to get hold of Ram Charan’s film especially in Hindi version. The record-breaking earnings of films like ‘Pushpa 2’, ‘KGF 2’, ‘Bahubali 2’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ have also been achieved due to the Hindi audience. But as things stand, ‘Game Changer’ doesn’t seem to be doing any wonders.

Ram Charan is in triple role, matter cooled down even due to delay

Ram Charan is in a triple role in ‘Game Changer’. After the bumper success of RRR with SS Rajamouli, his/her ‘Acharya’ flopped badly. In such a situation, ‘Game Changer’ is very important for his/her career. This film was announced in February 2021. But it got delayed due to many reasons. The effect of this was that with time, especially after the failure of ‘Indian 2’, the film started losing its attraction.

11 years ago ‘Zanjeer’ earned Rs 3.49 crore on opening day

For information, let us tell you that Ram Charan made his/her Bollywood debut with ‘Zanjeer’ in 2013. It was a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s cult classic of the same name. Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt were also in the film. This film flopped badly at the box office and was able to earn only Rs 15.01 crore in its lifetime. On the opening day, ‘Zanjeer’ had collected a net of only Rs 3.49 crore in the country.

How much can ‘Game Changer’ earn on opening day?

Now looking at the advance booking figures of ‘Game Changer’ it seems that it will be able to earn only Rs 2-3 crore on the opening day in the Hindi-dubbed version. Whereas in all three languages including Telugu and Tamil, this film is going to do a business of Rs 5-8 crore on the first day. Yes, if there is a surge in advance bookings on Wednesday and Thursday and spot bookings increase due to fans, then ‘Game Changer’ can cross the 10 crore mark on the opening day.
