Rakul Preet disrespected Ganpati Bappa! Users rebuked her and said- did no one teach you?

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani are the power couple of Bollywood. Both of them got married with great pomp in Goa on 21 February 2024. Both were in a relationship for three years before their marriage. This year they celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi together for the first time as husband and wife. Rakul talked to the paps (paparazzi) about her excitement, but during this time she made a mistake, which people caught and then they were ridiculed a lot. Rakul Preet Singh and her husband Jackky Bhagnani were seen distributing sweets to the paparazzi on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Talking to them, Rakul said that this is the first time she is celebrating Ganpati Chaturthi with Jackie.

Did Rakul disrespect Ganpati Bappa?

33-year-old Rakul says, ‘This is the first Ganpati for me. I have never kept Ganpati before. Jackie’s mother made all the preparations. I have learned from her how Ganpati is kept.’ This did not go down well with the netizens and they started criticizing the actress for disrespecting Lord Ganesha. Slamming her, one user wrote, ‘Stupid woman, they are kept, tell me… what has no one taught you?’ Another wrote, ‘Ganpati is not kept, he/she is enthroned.’

Users did not like this statement of Rakul

Some people also did not like the fact that Rakul did not call her husband Jackie’s mother as Maa or Sasu Maa, but as ‘his/her mom’. One wrote, ‘Jackie’s mom is like you too Madam ji… you can call her Mom or Sasu Maa.’ Another commented, ‘his/her mom, your mother-in-law or even Mom could have been called Didi.’
