Rajinikanth-Amitabh’s ‘Vettaiyan’ scored a century in the country in 4 days, ‘Devra’ also put in full force

Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Vettaiyan’ has also scored a century at the domestic box office in its opening weekend. The film has got a big benefit from the extended weekend of four days. However, on Sunday it was expected that the film would earn more than Rs 30 crore. But this did not happen. In fact, on the fourth day the film has earned less than Saturday. It is possible that this happened because due to the tiredness of concluding Dussehra on Saturday, less people came out of their homes on Sunday. On the other hand, Junior NTR’s flopped ‘Devra’ has also made a strong impact in the weekend. ‘Vettaiyan’, directed by TJ Gnanavel, was released on Thursday, 10 October. Apart from Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, the film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati. The film has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. But due to Rajinikanth’s stardom, this film made with a budget of Rs 300 crore is earning well at the box office.

‘Vettaiyan’ box office collection day 4

According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Vettaiyan’ has collected a net collection of Rs 22.25 crore on Sunday including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Earlier on Saturday, it had earned Rs 26.75 crore. On Thursday, Rs 31.70 crore was earned on the opening day. Whereas on Friday there was a turnover of Rs 24 crore. Now the total collection of ‘Vettaiyan’ at the domestic box office in four days is Rs 104.80 crore.

Strong earning from Tamil, loss in Hindi is bad

This film of Rajinikanth is earning the most from Tamil Nadu. The Tamil version shows have recorded an occupancy of 57.25% on Sunday. Whereas apart from Tamil, the film has made a good mark in Telugu states also. The condition of the film in the Hindi version is bad and this is the biggest obstacle in the way of bumper earnings.

‘Vettaiyan’ is also doing good business in terms of worldwide collections. It has earned a gross of Rs 170 crore at the global box office in four days. Out of this, the gross collection in foreign countries is around Rs 75 crore.
