Leaders of 26 opposition parties announced after a meeting in Bangalore on Tuesday that the name of their new alliance would be INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance), its coordination committee would be formed in a meeting to be held in Mumbai next month. This alliance will decide the common minimum program and election strategy. On Monday night, there was an informal meeting of opposition leaders over dinner in Bengaluru, while on Tuesday the formal meeting lasted for four hours. Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, RJD founder Lalu Prasad were present in the meeting. , NCP President Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UT) President Uddhav Thackeray and other leaders were present. After the meeting, Congress President Kharge said that all the opposition parties have decided to come on one platform to save the country. NDA meeting is being held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Ashoka Hotel in Delhi, in which leaders of 38 allies are participating. It seems that BJP has given the answer to the front of 26 opposition parties with the NDA of 38 parties.

Big leaders were seen in the front of opposition parties, but except Mamta Banerjee, Stalin and Kejriwal, most of those who were seen have lost their mass base. Uddhav Thackeray is in alliance, but his/her Shiv Sena is in NDA with Eknath Shinde. Sharad Pawar is in the anti-Modi camp, but his/her party is with Praful Patel and Ajit Pawar, who reached the meeting with Modi. Nitish Kumar also became an advocate of the unity of the opposition parties, but his/her own support base is slipping, he/she does not know which leader of his/her party will leave him/her and when. Many small parties have just decided to leave their side and join the NDA. The same situation is in Uttar Pradesh, where the leaders of the parties who dreamed of making Akhilesh the Chief Minister are now with the BJP.

BJP’s strategy is to unite the parties with mass base of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. This experiment was successful in 2014, so even if the faces of big leaders are not visible in the front of 38 parties of NDA, but such people have reached there, who have public support and their own mass base. If we take only the 120 Lok Sabha seats in UP and Bihar, then these small parties have a total of 8 to 9 percent votes, which can change the result of the election in close-fought situations.

Story of Pawar party

Many political incidents took place in Mumbai on Sunday and Monday. People were surprised when Sharad Pawar reached the party office YB Chavan Center from his/her home on Monday afternoon. Sharad Pawar reaching YB Chavan Center was not a big deal. The great thing was that when Sharad Pawar reached there, Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel, Sunil Tatkare and Chhagan Bhujbal were already present with 37 MLAs and 6 MLCs of NCP, waiting for Sharad Pawar. Sharad Pawar first talked to Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare alone for about forty-five minutes, after which the rest of the MLAs were called to meet Sharad Pawar.

No one told what Sharad Pawar said to the MLAs and what the MLAs said to Sharad Pawar, but from the scene seen there, it became clear that at this time most of the MLAs and party leaders are with Ajit Pawar. 37 MLAs had reached YB Chavan Center with Ajit Pawar. Ajit Pawar showed his/her strength by making all the MLAs stand in front of Sharad Pawar and urged him/her to give up his/her stubbornness, lead the party, support what is the opinion of most of the MLAs and party people. Ajit Pawar and Sharad Pawar have met thrice in three days. First Ajit Pawar went to Sharad Pawar’s house alone, said that he/she had gone to see his/her aunt, i.e. Sharad Pawar’s wife Pratibha, who had undergone surgery at Breach Candy Hospital. Ajit Pawar along with his/her fellow ministers met Sharad Pawar on Sunday. On Monday, Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel and all the MLAs of their group went to meet Sharad Pawar.

Many meanings will be derived from meeting Sharad Pawar three times in three days. Those who do not like Ajit Pawar will say that even today Sharad Pawar is dominating in every village of Maharashtra. Praful Patel and Ajit Pawar are scared of Saheb’s Iqbal, so they came to Saheb to apologize. Ajit Pawar’s fans will say that both Prafulla and Ajit have said from the very first day that Sharad Rao is our God, they went to Pawar saheb to keep NCP united. If he/she went to pacify his/her angry god then what is wrong with it. But, the truth is that whatever the political differences between Sharad Rao and Ajit Dada, personal differences never appeared. Ajit Pawar has been seen moving away from Sharad Pawar twice before, but both times he/she came back home. This time when Ajit Dada went, he/she took the house with him/her. Sharad Pawar has to decide whether he/she should return home or not. Sharad Pawar’s difficulty is that coming back home means going with Modi. Then what will happen to those big things of Bade Pawar Saheb, which he/she said to overthrow Modi?

I think Sharad Pawar can manage it easily because the offer made by Ajit Pawar is huge. My information is that Ajit Pawar has offered Sharad Pawar that he/she should remain the President of NCP, he/she should lead NCP, Supriya Sule should also be the working President, come with NDA, Supriya Sule should become a minister in the central government.
