This tradition is being followed for years. Let us tell you, even today there is no permanent house in the village. In this village there is a mud house with thatched roof. No person in the village neither eats non-vegetarian food nor consumes alcohol. Besides, burning of kerosene and neem wood has also been banned in this village.

There is a temple of Lord Devnarayan in this village, which has become a famous tourist place. According to reports, thousands of devotees come to visit the temple every year. According to the villagers, many years ago, when Lord Devnarayan arrived in Devmali village, he/she asked for a place to stay from the local community.

The community built a house for them, but at the same time, the community had also decided to never build a permanent house for themselves. This is the reason that even today concrete or metal rods are not used in the construction of houses. Let us tell you, only the government buildings and temples in the village remain permanent.
