New Delhi. India and Mumbai fast bowler Tushar Deshpande may remain out of the field for the next “two to three months” due to an ankle injury. The right-arm fast bowler has stayed away from all competitions this season due to the re-emergence of the injury.

Mumbai will face Jammu and Kashmir in their first Ranji Trophy match at the Sharad Pawar Academy in BKC, in which India batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal is likely to play. Jaiswal had a mixed tour of Australia, he/she scored a brilliant 161 in Perth and then scored 82 and 84 in Melbourne, but his/her performance in Australia too was not good, India lost 1-3 to Australia. .
