In its investigation, SOG found that the paper was leaked from the examination centre itself and spread through social media. Five more policemen, including the son and daughter of former Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) member Ramuram Raika, have been arrested.

SOG believes that Ramuram Raika had obtained the paper from another RPSC member Babulal Katara and gave it to his/her son and daughter seven days before the exam. It is worth noting that Katara has been in jail since April 2023 in another case related to the senior teacher recruitment exam.
