After resolving the dispute with Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan, now the Chief Minister of the state, Ashok Gehlot, seems to be caught in a new confusion. The Congress government is troubled by the incidents of rape and paper leaks happening every day in the state. Gehlot is visiting every district to return again, trying to woo voters through inflation relief camps. But the scams happening in government recruitments are creating new problems for them everyday. Copycat mafia continues to be a challenge for the CM. Because a large number of unemployed youths are troubled by the paper leak and are slowly mobilizing against the government. On the other hand, the BJP is also trying to win over these angry youths in its favor. The party is continuously raising the issue of paper leak in the state. Raising voice and agitating inside and outside the assembly.
When the revelations are happening after the incidents of continuous paper out of the competitive examination, the Congress government of the state is seen standing in the dock. Although CM Ashok Gehlot has given a statement that no leader and officer is involved in such incidents, while big leaders are being arrested one after the other. SOG has arrested RPSC member Babulal Katara, who is currently in jail, in the case of selling senior teacher recruitment examination paper. Katara was appointed as an RPSC member only on the recommendation of the CM. Now Gopal Kesawat, a former minister of the Gehlot government, has been arrested among the accused who made a deal for one crore rupees in the name of selection for executive officer recruitment. Kesawat is currently on ACB remand. Apart from this, two other women members have been named in the FIR by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in the matter of changing the OMR sheets in the Executive Officer (EO) examination. The role of these two members has also been described as suspicious.
Papers of more than 10 competitive exams have been out in the last four and a half years. These include papers of examinations conducted by RPSC and State Staff Selection Board. The special thing in this is that in big recruitment examinations like RAS, sons and daughters of Congress leaders and many relatives have been selected. BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Kirodilal Meena alleges that the papers were made available to the sons, daughters and relatives of Congress leaders under a conspiracy and in connivance they were given higher marks in the interview. For this reason the sons, daughters and relatives of the leaders became big officers. Dr. Meena has demanded the CBI to investigate the malpractices in the RAS, SI and EO recruitment examinations. he/she said that only after the CBI probe is done, it would be possible to reveal the links of these mafias with which leaders.
paper leaks are happening even after bringing the law
In a conversation with Amar Ujala, senior Rajasthan journalist Sandeep Dahiya says that the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan seems to be more troubled in two matters at this time. First, the cases of rape are increasing in the state and secondly, the papers of the government recruitment examination are out. The rape of a Dalit girl in Bikaner, the rape of a child in Karoli and the incident of gang rape of a minor girl in Chief Minister’s home constituency Jodhpur are raising questions about the government’s law and order situation. After the reet paper leak in 2021, the incidents of paper out are continuously coming to the fore in the state. In 2021, the government had conducted the REET examination on a large scale. After the paper was leaked, the angry youth had agitated across the state. After this, the government had decided to re-do this exam.
Dahiya says that after Reet, there have been cases of more than half a dozen government recruitment papers being out. Due to the frequent paper leak cases, BJP got a big opportunity to surround the Congress government. That’s why BJP is raising this matter on the coming days and is seen agitating on the streets. Through agitations, the party is trying to connect the youth with itself. Because the Congress is angry with the government due to the large number of youth paper leak incidents. Here, to answer the criticism of the BJP and to instill confidence in the youth, the Ashok Gehlot government has opened fresh recruitment in many government departments. Apart from this, strict laws have been brought against the copying mafia. In this new anti-copying law, provisions have been made for 10 years of imprisonment and a fine of up to Rs 10 crore. Even after the implementation of the new anti-copying law, papers of two to three competitive examinations were leaked in Rajasthan.
Now the government is strict in the law
Those who leak papers in competitive examinations will now be punished with life imprisonment. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has recently taken a big decision regarding copying mafias. The government will bring an ordinance in this regard in the upcoming assembly session. Through this ordinance, the provision of life imprisonment will be added as the maximum punishment for copying mafia.
Victory of Our Struggle: Unemployed Organization
State President of Rajasthan Unemployed Integrated Federation Upen Yadav said that they have been demanding for a long time that there should be strictest punishment provisions against paper leak mafias so that they have fear of law. Due to the provision of strict punishment, there will be an atmosphere of fear among the paper leak mafia, which will curb the incidents of paper leaks. Upen Yadav has described this decision of the government as the victory of the struggle of the unemployed.
